Production of Mozhaets-6 Satellite Completed: To Become Part of the Russian Orbital Grouping

The spacecraft is designed for scientific research and built in the interests of the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy

The A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy and enterprises of the rocket and space industry have successfully completed the development of the Mozhaets-6 spacecraft.

It was previously reported that the Mozhaets-6 spacecraft would be used for scientific and educational purposes. It was planned that the satellite would help the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy and other universities in innovative and educational training in the development of outer space.

For more than 30 years, scientists of the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy have made a significant contribution to the development of technologies for creating and using small spacecraft. Together with enterprises of the rocket and space industry, the Mozhaets series of spacecraft have been created and put into orbital operation. In 2025, the creation and ground processing of the onboard equipment of the Mozhaets-6 spacecraft, designed and created by the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy in collaboration with enterprises of the rocket and space industry, were completed.

The department added that the Mozhaets satellites are "an orbital 'squadron' created with the direct participation of the teaching and scientific staff of the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy."
