Almost all domestic automakers will begin producing PHEV versions of models as this segment develops

By 2030, Russia plans to produce more than 183,000 electric vehicles and series hybrid vehicles, according to First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. The statement was made in an interview with TASS General Director Andrei Kondrashov before the start of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

Manturov noted that almost all domestic automakers will begin producing hybrid models as this segment develops. In Lipetsk, the assembly of Evolute i-Space hybrid vehicles and several Voyah models, which meet the conditions of demand stimulation programs, has already been established. Production and development of charging infrastructure are planned to be synchronized to support market growth.
