Sales of «Moskvich» cars in Russia in August 2025 decreased by 42%, amounting to only 1.1 thousand units. This was reported in the press service of the automaker.
The «Moskvich» automobile plant sold 1.9 thousand cars in August 2024. The sold cars included 300 liftbacks «Moskvich 6» and more than 80 electric vehicles «Moskvich 3e».
Sales of «Moskvich» in August 25 amounted to 1,124 cars, and in 8 months amounted to 9,960 cars, the market share remained at the level of last year
Since the start of sales of the new «Moskvich-8» model on July 22, 2025, only 24 cars have been sold.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the seven-seater «Moskvich 8» will be available for sale in August 2025.
