The head of the Federal Project for Combating Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, has proposed banning dating apps and websites in Russia.
In an interview with "Abzats," he noted that such platforms are often used by malicious actors, contribute to the corruption of youth morals, and create a false impression of relationships. According to him, modern young people are losing their courtship and communication skills: instead, they turn to paid services where acquaintance is reduced to material payment.
Borodin emphasized that crimes often occur on such platforms, including cases of violence against girls on dates.
