Class M1.3 flare lasted 23 minutes

A flare of the penultimate power class M1.3 was recorded on the Sun, the press service of the Institute of Applied Geophysics reported.

The event occurred on Saturday at 17:23 Moscow time in the group of sunspots 4195 (S19W08). The flare lasted 23 minutes.

Today, the Sun continues to get rid of excess energy. The star ejected a cloud of plasma towards Venus. This event has not yet affected Earth.
