Tests of the unmanned five-meter boat BEC-R successfully conducted in Sevastopol

The boat is equipped with a 115 hp engine.

The company "RoboCorp" (startup studio "IT-Garage") tested its unmanned boat BEC-R on the water. This was reported in the press service of the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"RoboCorp" designed an unmanned boat 5 meters long with an outboard motor with a capacity of 115 horsepower. The first stage of testing was successful: the boat made a circle around the Sevastopol Bay and fully confirmed its operability. Specialists controlled the boat remotely.

In the near future, specialists will be engaged in refining the navigation system, introducing computer vision and creating a full-fledged autonomous mode for moving along a given route and returning to base.
