Russian airlines will find it expensive to replace foreign aircraft with domestic MC-21-310, SJ-100, and others. This was warned by aviation expert Roman Gusarov.
According to him, the actual production of aircraft will still be regulated by the demand for them.
If there is a higher demand than 36 aircraft per year for rotation or replenishment, the plant will increase serial production.
Gusarov noted that there are currently opportunities to service Western equipment, so foreign aircraft may well fly for another 10-15 years.
Information has appeared online that Boeing and Airbus have continued to supply aircraft parts for aircraft in Russia, but through third countries. Thanks to end-user certificates, the companies know exactly who the parts are being sent to.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the millionth titanium ingot for the construction of MC-21 and SJ-100 was smelted in Russia.
