The "Assets Online" application, which allows you to pay for purchases with an iPhone in the same way as Apple Pay, has been removed from the App Store.
The bank explained that the service can now only be installed through offices or with the help of an on-site manager. Customers were reminded of the threat of fraud and warned against downloading the program from unknown sources.
Sberbank also introduced a new contactless payment technology for iPhone owners called "Vzhuh". It works on the basis of Bluetooth Low Energy. To use it, you need to update the Sberbank Online application and grant it access to Bluetooth.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Sberbank had returned contactless payment using iPhone. The "Vzhuh" technology works similarly to Apple Pay.
