Rosobrnadzor announced the launch of the "ExaM" software package for foreign citizens to take exams in the Russian language, the history of Russia, and the fundamentals of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
From January 1, 2026, all exams for foreign citizens and stateless persons will be conducted exclusively using computer and remote technologies.
The agency noted that the complex fully automates the process: from registration and video identification of participants to instruction, task completion, calculation of results, and issuance of certificates. Exam results are available in 10 seconds, and certificates are generated on the same day.
The software package is compatible with any type of computer equipment and allows real-time monitoring of sessions, registration, report generation, and access management.
Rosobrnadzor emphasized that the use of "ExaM" reduces the burden on staff, increases the transparency of the exam, and ensures the protection of personal data.
