Specialists from the Kalashnikov concern have developed tactical mounts for automatic small arms. The mounts can be used for PKM, PKT, Degtyarev and AK machine guns when protecting critical infrastructure from UAVs. A contract for the supply of mounts has been concluded with one of the Russian companies in the fuel and energy complex (FEC). This was reported in the press service of the concern.
The folding, height-adjustable telescopic tripod has a movable upper mount. Depending on the modification, one or two machine guns can be installed on the mount.
Characteristics of the Kalashnikov development:
- Weight — from 15 to 38 kg, depending on configuration
- Open mechanical sight
- It is possible to install optoelectronic sights
- Engages UAV-type targets at a distance of up to 300 m, enemy personnel — up to 1000 km
As tests have shown, the tactical mount manufactured by Kalashnikov fully meets the requirements of combat, taking into account the tactical and technical characteristics and capabilities of small arms based on its own experience in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The press service added that Kalashnikov is ready to produce tactical mounts for the needs of law enforcement agencies and to ensure the safety of industrial facilities.
