The Russian concern «Kalashnikov» held the Cup of War Correspondents in practical shooting in the «Patriot» park near Moscow. There was also a presentation of new weapons.
Journalists were shown for the first time the latest 7.62 mm Kalashnikov AK-15K (shortened) and AK-15SK (small-sized) assault rifles, and the 7.62 mm RPL-7 belt-fed machine gun.
Combat small arms, missile and artillery weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, personal protective equipment and uniforms, and medical devices were also presented to the media.
AK-15K is a version of the AK-15 assault rifle with a shortened barrel to improve ease of use and use in confined spaces.

Also, as part of the competition, dynamic displays of the 7.62 mm Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh) and the MR-155 rifle took place. From the SVCh, sections with armored plates that are part of the KDH MSV Gen II Multicam body armor of the NATO standard and the 6B45 (version 01) combined-arms body armor from Kalashnikov were shot at from a distance of 10 m. The Russian development turned out to be tenacious.
A flying kamikaze drone was hit with an MR-155 smoothbore rifle. The weapon in a special version was developed to combat small drones. It is actively used by Russian military personnel.
