Novosibirsk researchers from NSTU NETI have developed an innovative device that significantly speeds up the process of replacing batteries on electric scooters. This innovation is designed to make life easier for couriers and anyone who actively uses electric scooters, providing them with faster recharging.
The developed metal device is equipped with 12 slots for standard 48-volt batteries. The automatic system for replacing discharged batteries with charged ones, activated by payment via NFC or QR code, takes only 10 seconds. The creators predict high demand for this solution from kick-sharing operators and courier services, emphasizing its environmental friendliness and simple design as key advantages for business.
