BELAZ has completed acceptance tests of its first BX20012 mining excavator and is sending it to work at one of the open-pit mines of the SUEK coal mining company in Siberia. This was reported by the company's press service.
The BELAZ BX20012 excavator is equipped with a powerful 1150 hp diesel engine and equipped with a 12-cubic-meter rock bucket of the "direct shovel" type. It develops record efforts on the cutting edge: digging - 770 kN and pressure - 810 kN. The operator's comfort and safety are ensured by a spacious cabin with climate control, intuitive controls and a video surveillance system. The weight of the machine is 214 tons.
The software developed by the company controls all the excavator's operating parameters, including bucket movements and track operation. The IMS intelligent monitoring system allows you to remotely monitor the condition of components and perform diagnostics in real time.
The upcoming tests in Siberia will become another test for BELAZ BX20012.
