BELAZ has completed acceptance tests of its first BX20012 mining excavator and is sending it to work in one of the open-pit mines of the SUEK coal mining company in Siberia. This was reported by the company's press service.
The BELAZ BX20012 excavator is equipped with a powerful 1150 hp diesel engine and a 12-cubic-meter rock bucket of the "direct shovel" type. It develops record efforts on the cutting edge: breakout force — 770 kN and crowding force — 810 kN. The operator's comfort and safety are ensured by a spacious cabin with climate control, intuitive controls, and a video обзор system. The machine weighs 214 tons.
The software developed by the company controls all the excavator's operating parameters, including bucket movements and track operation. The IMS intelligent monitoring system allows remote monitoring of the condition of components and real-time diagnostics.
The upcoming tests in Siberia will become another test for BELAZ BX20012.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that BELAZ-7531 dump trucks will be sent to the largest copper deposit in Russia.
