ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance drones are successfully returning to base after attacks by electronic warfare (EW) and drone interceptors, according to Anton Sergeev, commander of the reconnaissance and strike platoon.
According to him, specialists from repair units are restoring the "birds" and returning them to work.
There are many instances when they evaded enemy attacks, brought aircraft with shrapnel damage, and engines jammed.
Modern ZALA drones have received artificial intelligence that independently searches for free frequencies for flight. These ranges are less susceptible to electronic warfare systems. The device also received a counteraction system to FPV interceptors and new communication channels.
The ZALA Z-16 is protected from FPV interceptors by an onboard video camera with machine vision technology. When enemy drones are detected, the system automatically commands the scout to perform evasive maneuvers.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Iskander operational-tactical missile system crews received improved missiles invulnerable to American Patriots.
