The Telegram channel "Military Informant" reported that a T-55 tank, removed from storage, has entered service with the Russian army. The footage went viral on social networks.
The video shows the armored vehicle reversing off a low-loader trailer. Apparently, the tank still needs to be equipped with "barbecue grills" and other protective elements that are so necessary in modern combat.
Т-55 is a medium tank developed on the basis of the Т-54. The combat vehicle differs from its predecessor by an increased ammunition load, a more powerful engine, an expanded fuel system, improved night devices, and thermal smoke equipment. It is unknown what exactly from the list will eventually remain on the vehicle.

A 100-mm D-10T2S rifled gun is responsible for firing, with a firing range of up to 15 km even from closed positions. There is also a 12.7-mm DShKMT machine gun.
