The Military Academy of Logistics named after General of the Army A. V. Khrulev (VAMTO) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has obtained a patent for two types of vans for delivering food to military personnel.
According to the patent, the first van has a sealed armored body that protects the driver-mechanic from small arms. It was developed with the possibility of parachute landing in mind. The model will receive a searchlight, side doors, as well as a power plant based on the BMD (infantry fighting vehicle).
The second van is an amphibious vehicle on an air cushion of a chamber design. It is focused on operation in difficult meteorological conditions, including in winter on off-road conditions or during ice formation (the process of ice formation on water bodies). The amphibian is divided into 2 compartments: for transporting bakery products and ready-made food.
