"Perm Shipyard" (part of the "Emperium" group of AFK "Sistema") plans to start assembling the lead electric vessel "Baikal" in 2025. This was announced by the General Director of Perm Shipyard, Nikolai Malukhin.
The site (for assembling the vessel) is being worked out, the construction site is being determined. I think in December we will start assembling the sections, directly forming the hull at the construction site on Baikal.
The "Baikal" electric vessel is in the creation stage, 30% of the vessel's sections have already been manufactured. The vessel is scheduled to be launched in the fall of 2026.
The three-deck electric ship "Baikal" will meet the service and comfort level of a 5-star hotel. The vessel is designed for traveling on Lake Baikal. It will be equipped with business-class and economy-class cabins. This will accommodate 68 passengers. There is also a panoramic restaurant, bar, spa area, observation decks and a sun deck on board.
During the off-season, the "Baikal" cruise electric vessel can be used as a "floating hotel." The technical details of the new product have not yet been disclosed.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the new electric vessel "Moskva 3.0" will receive an innovative power system from Sitronics Electro.
