One of the Russian aviation regiments received a new batch of Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopters "Alligator". This was announced by a navigator with the call sign Raketa. His words were conveyed by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
This equipment works without any complaints, it is convenient to operate.
According to the serviceman, the crews of the "Alligators" provide air cover for ground troops, and also hit enemy UAVs with guided missiles.
Ka-52 is a development of the Ka-50 "Black Shark" helicopter, developed at JSC "National Helicopter Center named after M. L. Mil and N. I. Kamov" (part of the "Helicopters of Russia" holding). The rotorcraft first took to the air in 1997. Its operation began in 2011.

- Engines: 2 VK-2500 gas turbine engines, with a capacity of 2700 hp
- Maximum speed: 350 km/h.
