Researchers at Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU NETI) have developed an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly method for water purification without the use of reagents. This was reported by the university's press service.
This approach not only makes the purification process safer but also significantly reduces costs. The cost of one cubic meter of purified water is reduced by 2.5 times compared to traditional methods.
The key element of the new technology is a unique vortex device for water treatment, which has already been patented. This device ensures high purification efficiency and is the basis of the entire system.
Currently, an industrial prototype of the installation has been created, which can be used in various fields (country houses, enterprises, and agriculture) where access to clean water is required.
