New reagent-free water purification method developed at NSTU NETI

A special vortex device has been created for water treatment

Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU NETI) has developed an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly method of water purification without the use of reagents. This was reported by the university's press service.

This approach not only makes the purification process safer, but also significantly reduces costs. The cost of a cubic meter of purified water is reduced by 2.5 times compared to traditional methods.

The key element of the new technology is a unique vortex device for water treatment, which has already been patented. This device ensures high purification efficiency and is the basis of the entire system.

Currently, an industrial prototype of the installation has been created, which can be used in various fields (country houses, enterprises and agriculture) where access to clean water is required.
