AvtoVAZ has denied rumors about postponing the start of mass production of Lada Iskra to 2026. The new product will be produced after the end of the corporate vacation at the enterprise.
The production of Iskra, like other Lada models, will be resumed on August 18, after AvtoVAZ leaves the corporate vacation.
The official start of sales of Lada Iskra took place on July 20. Only 21 cars were registered in the traffic police. At the same time, 20 were purchased by legal entities, probably for exhibitions. Only one Lada Iskra is in private hands.
The reasons for the delay in mass production are not disclosed.
