In the Chelyabinsk region, an innovative domestic complex for improving the quality of road surfaces and eliminating the formation of longitudinal depressions (rutting) has been successfully tested. This was reported by the "South Ural" road administration.
Successful tests were carried out by Rosdortekhnologiya, as well as the contracting organization responsible for the overhaul of a section of the A-310 federal highway located in the Chelyabinsk region. We are talking about an innovative complex — a static densitometer with a hydraulic station of domestic production.
The new complex helps road workers predict whether the soil and top layer of the pavement will withstand loads at a given traffic intensity on various sections of the road. The densitometer readings are taken at the work site, then correction factors are calculated for dynamic methods.
In the process, the pressure system on the base plate records pavement deformations using a linear displacement sensor. Based on the load-settlement relationship, parameters such as the deformation modulus, elastic modulus, and relative compaction index are calculated.
Earlier www1.ru reported that self-cleaning road surface was tested in Russia.
