A workshop for the production of critical electrical equipment — busbars and complete busbars — has been launched at the "Moselectroshield" plant in Kovrov (Vladimir region). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

A device for transmitting electricity over short distances, for example, from a generator to a step-up transformer. Its cross-section depends on the magnitude of the maximum permissible current.

The workshop contributes to the development of the Russian electrical industry, increasing the production of vital elements for the energy sector.

This is not the only area of work of the "Moselectroshield" plant, they are also implementing a project to localize the production of complete switchgear up to 35 kV.

According to him, growth has been outlined in the sector of electrical engineering. Production volume in 2024 amounted to 370 billion rubles, which is a quarter more than in 2023.
