The Russian military received modernized Konkurs-M anti-tank guided missile systems (ATGMs). Footage of combat work appeared on the Web.
The sample that has been spotted differs externally and in its internal components from those that have been known for a long time.
One of the latest modifications of the Konkurs received a tandem warhead with increased penetration, successfully hitting, among other things, M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA infantry fighting vehicles.
The Konkurs-M missiles used are equipped with tandem warheads capable of penetrating up to 800 mm of homogeneous armor behind dynamic protection. The range of application is from 75 meters to 4000 meters. The average missile speed is 208 m/s.
