The Russian military has received modernized Konkurs-M anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) systems. Footage of combat operations has appeared online.
The sample that has been spotted differs externally and in its internal components from those that have been known for a long time.
One of the latest modifications of the Konkurs has received a tandem warhead with increased penetration, successfully hitting, among other things, M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA infantry fighting vehicles.
The Konkurs-M missiles used are equipped with tandem warheads capable of penetrating up to 800 mm of homogeneous armor behind dynamic protection. The range is from 75 meters to 4000 meters. The average missile speed is 208 m/s.
