Crew Dragon with cosmonaut Peskov left the ISS

The ship will land off the coast of California

The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, with Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov on board, has successfully undocked from the International Space Station (ISS). The event occurred on August 8 at 18:15 US Eastern Time (01:15 Moscow time on August 9).

Crew Dragon plans to land off the coast of California at 11:33 local time (22:33 Moscow time). The journey from the orbital station to Earth will take about 20 hours. In addition to Peskov, the Crew-10 mission includes US astronauts: Commander Anne McClain, pilot Nicole Ayers, and mission specialist Takuya Onishi from Japan.

The cosmonauts arrived at the ISS on March 16 and spent several months on the station, performing various scientific experiments and tasks. In early August, a new crew of the Crew-11 mission arrived at the station, which included Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.

Now Crew Dragon is on its way to Earth. All systems are operating normally. The landing is expected to be uneventful, and the crew will return home after a successful mission.
