Specialists of the SPC BAS Tomsk have successfully developed a new unmanned aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing capabilities. The device, created completely from scratch, is preparing for flight tests.

The key advantage of the new UAV is the possibility of vertical takeoff and landing, which opens up opportunities for delivering goods to remote regions without the need for airfields. The device is capable of landing on a site of only 10x10 meters. Equipped with a hybrid power plant, it can carry up to 40 kg of payload over a distance of up to 1000 km, making it an effective tool for supplying remote settlements and deposits with critical goods, such as medicines and equipment.
