The Ruspolimet Group of Companies has launched serial production of ring parts for GTE-110M gas turbine units at the site of the Kulebaki Metallurgical Plant in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Investments in the project amounted to 822 million rubles, of which 651.5 million rubles were provided by the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) under the "Component Products" program.
The new production facility allows the production of large-sized rings with a diameter of up to 4.5 meters and a weight of up to 3 tons. These parts are used in the design of gas turbines developed by ODK-Saturn (Rybinsk). Previously, the turbine body was assembled from many small elements, which complicated installation. Solid rings reduce the number of connections and increase the reliability of components.
The plant's capacity is designed to produce up to 460 ring products per year. In addition to turbine components, the company produces parts for pipelines, bearings and other industrial applications. The raw materials are Russian steel and alloys, which ensures 100% localization.
The technological process includes smelting, forging, heat treatment and quality control. The IDF's borrowed funds are aimed at purchasing equipment, including vertical turning lathes and quenching complexes.
The project is implemented with the support of the IDF, which finances industrial initiatives on preferential terms. Ruspolimet is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of metal products for the energy and mechanical engineering industries.
