Vympel Shipyard (part of USC) has handed over the fifth Kometa 120M high-speed passenger hydrofoil vessel to the customer. The vessel is named after the Crimean city - "Feodosia". It was built for USC Mashpromleasing, which will lease it to the company "Marine High-Speed Passenger Transportation".
"Feodosia" has successfully passed sea trials, confirming the stated characteristics. The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has issued an act of readiness of the vessel for operation.
Project 23160 is designed for passenger transportation in coastal marine areas. The vessel accommodates up to 120 people and develops a speed of up to 35 knots.
