At the "ProDvizheniye" exhibition at VDNKh in Moscow, the Kaliningrad-based Avtotor plant presented a line of new Eonyx electric vehicles. The series includes two compact vehicles in the L category: the Eonyx M2 passenger vehicle and the Eonyx Profi Cargo commercial vehicle. Both models reach a maximum speed of up to 80 km/h and are designed for use within the city.
The electric vehicles have a range of up to 130 km on a single charge. However, the capacity of the batteries differs: the Eonyx M2 has 150 A·h, while the cargo version has 166 A·h. Both electric vehicles can be charged from a standard household electrical network.
The Eonyx M2 passenger version is a two-seater electric vehicle equipped with a multimedia system, a rear-view camera, and a climate control system. The car is focused on everyday use in the urban environment. The model is characterized by low noise, compact dimensions, and high maneuverability.
The Eonyx Profi Cargo is designed for the needs of courier services and urban logistics. It is equipped with a closed body with a volume of up to 1350 liters and is suitable for operation in warehouses, industrial facilities, resorts, and areas with limited traffic.
The cost of the new models will be "significantly less than one million rubles," representatives of the company noted. The start of mass production is scheduled for 2026. According to Avtotor's assessment, the annual potential market volume for such electric vehicles is about 3,000 units, but significant demand growth is expected in the coming years.
