Aurus обошёл Lada e-Largus: в России за полгода продано 126 «российских Rolls-Royce»

Premium sedans and SUVs sold 100 times better than Lada e-Largus

In the first six months of 2025, 126 vehicles of the premium brand Aurus were sold in Russia, including 108 Aurus Senat sedans and limousines, as well as 18 Aurus Komendant SUVs. This is 100 times more than the sales volume of the latest Lada e-Largus electric vehicle during the same period.

The Aurus Senat, originally created as a presidential car, is equipped with a hybrid power plant with a V8 engine producing almost 600 horsepower. The Komendant, released later, uses the same platform and a similar engine. Sales of updated versions started in the spring of 2025: prices for the Senat start from 50.7 million rubles, and for the Komendant — from 51.5 million.

The steady demand for ultra-expensive Russian-made cars shows the presence of solvent demand in the luxury segment. At the same time, it underscores the difficulties in bringing mass-market electric vehicles such as the Lada e-Largus to the market.
