AvtoVAZ has begun asking its dealers to remove signs and advertising materials for Xcite cars.
On July 28, the St. Petersburg Avtozavod (formerly the Nissan site) suspended the assembly of Xcite cars for a corporate holiday period. The production break will last until August 17.
Earlier it was reported about the termination of the Xcite crossover assembly project, about the overstocking of warehouses and about the sale of cars by dealers with large discounts. However, in March, the St. Petersburg Avtozavod claimed that the production of Xcite X-Cross 7 and X-Cross 8 crossovers continues. This creates a contradictory situation around the future of these models.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that XCite cars in Russiahave become cheaper by 300-400 thousand rubles.
