Yelizovo Airport in Kamchatka was damaged as a result of the earthquake, departure flights from the air harbor were delayed.

Social media users are posting videos from the new airport building — the footage shows that some panels cannot withstand the shaking and fall down from the ceiling.

One of the passengers at the airport was injured. The woman's condition is satisfactory, the regional Ministry of Health noted.

Three flights to Severo-Kurilsk, Shumshu and Tilichiki were delayed — this information is provided by the airport's online scoreboard. Registration for three more has been completed, but the planes have not yet taken off.

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport is operating normally, the taxiways, apron and runway were not damaged by the earthquake, the air harbor's press service reported.

The airport continues to operate normally, flights are operated on schedule. No damage was detected.
