The Russian Ministry of Defense has filed a new lawsuit against the Voronezh-based Sozvezdie Concern (part of Rostec's Roselectronica) for 70 million rubles. The corresponding documents have appeared in the arbitration case files.
The essence of the military department's claims is not yet known. The case will be considered in the Arbitration Court of Moscow, where the lawsuit was accepted on July 25.
The Moscow Arbitration Court previously rejected a complaint from the Ministry of Defense regarding a lawsuit against Sozvezdie Concern for 1.3 billion rubles. Sozvezdie delayed the delivery of goods to the Ministry of Defense by 241 days, and the contract amount was 536.7 million rubles.
In 2023, the Arbitration Court of Moscow ordered Sozvezdie to pay the Ministry of Defense a penalty of 14.5 million rubles, but later overturned the decision. And already in December of the same year, Sozvezdie received a lawsuit for 1.3 billion rubles from the Ministry of Defense.
The Sozvezdie Concern is a manufacturer of Palantin electronic warfare stations for the military.
