From July 28 to August 17, 2025, AvtoVAZ will suspend the operation of its assembly lines as part of the traditional corporate vacation. During this period, the plant will focus on maintenance, repair and modernization of equipment. This was announced by Sergey Tselikov, director of the Avtostat agency.
The shutdown of assembly lines will last two weeks, but this will not affect the availability of cars for buyers. Consumers can rest assured thanks to significant inventory, which exceeds 100 thousand units in the warehouses of the plant and dealers. In the first half of 2025, car stocks increased by approximately 30 thousand units.
Initially, it was planned to produce 500 thousand cars in 2025. However, changes to these targets were announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Lada sales in Russia for the first six months of 2025 amounted to 162.8 thousand cars, including light commercial vehicles, which is 23% lower than the same period in 2024.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ suspended production of the bestseller.
