In Russia, money is sometimes spent not on the needs of the army, but, for example, on maintaining football clubs. Vladimir Boglaev, director of the Cherepovets Foundry and Mechanical Plant (ChLMZ), spoke about the problems with the state defense order.
According to him, it would be wrong not to pay attention to signals about obvious problems with funding.
A source that can be used to close some problems may be less important expenditure items for the country. The fact that expensive football players are maintained at the expense of federal funds and the budget is annoying, but the question is not about trillions of rubles, we are talking about football players.
Boglaev added that now there are certainly less important expenses for the country than the tasks of defense, solving issues of production, technology and defense orders.
ChLMZ manufactures components, equipment and spare parts to order for the metallurgical, petrochemical and engineering industries.
