Two new high-speed passenger hydrofoil vessels "Meteor 2020" of project 03830 with improved characteristics and passenger comfort were presented in Kazan. The vessels were produced at the Zelenodolsk Plant named after Gorky.
The vessels are designed for 120 passengers and offer a spacious cabin with comfortable seats, access to multimedia content via wi-fi, as well as a luggage compartment and closed shelves for hand luggage. Special attention is paid to passengers with disabilities: all the necessary conditions have been created on board for their comfortable movement.
The new vessels have a number of advantages compared to traditional Meteor-type models. These include increased seaworthiness, reduced overloads and accelerations when moving on a wave, as well as the absence of the problem of stalling from the wing in displacement mode due to the positive angles of attack of the bow and stern wing. "Meteor 2020" can reach speeds of up to 65 km/h, and the cruising range is almost 700 km. The ship's crew consists of 4 people.
