Pocket "Solntsepyok": flamethrower system for ground robots developed in Russia

The development is equipped with a multiple launch rocket system

A light flamethrower system has been developed in Russia, which can be installed on the Omich multifunctional ground robotic complex (NRTK). This was reported by the developers.

Initially, the "Omichs" were used to deliver ammunition, fuel and food, as well as evacuate wounded soldiers.

Together with the cadets and the scientific department of the Omsk Armored Tank Institute, we made a light flamethrower system. Unlike a conventional hand-held grenade launcher, it is capable of firing multiple rounds, which significantly enhances the damaging effect.

The key advantage of the tracked "Omich" is its high cross-country ability, allowing it to overcome water obstacles, as well as get out of locations inaccessible to other military equipment.

Earlier www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
