A tax break for citizens investing in securities for a period of three years or more could be a new incentive for the development of the stock market. This was announced by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.
In his opinion, long-term investments should be encouraged with tax incentives, including full exemption from income tax. This will help offset the declining attractiveness of bank deposits and attract public funds into the economy.
If you invest in securities for three years or more, then, accordingly, you may be exempt from income tax
The deputy also stressed that stimulating investment is necessary not only in the stock market, but also in the field of digital financial assets. To this end, he said, changes are being prepared in the tax legislation - they may be adopted as early as the autumn.
