Specialists from the "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) increased the speed of the unmanned boat "Vizir" by 25%. This was announced by Mikhail Danilenko, Managing Director of the military-industrial holding.

What can be said about "Vizir" is that this year it replaced its diesel engine with a gasoline engine to become 25 percent faster, that is, it will reach a speed of 90 kilometers per hour.

The unmanned boat "Vizir" is a reusable drone controlled by artificial intelligence. Its payload is about 500 kilograms.

"Vizir" can be modified for various tasks - to be turned into a strike marine drone, a liquidator of such drones, a transporter of troops and cargo. The drone can carry guided weapons on board.
