At the "AGR Holding" car plant in Kaluga, preparations have been completed in the welding shop to launch full-cycle production of cars of the new Russian brand Tenet. This was reported in the company's press service.
The equipment for manufacturing bodies consists of highly automated complexes that require strict adherence to the geometry of parts. In the case of Tenet, this required an almost complete restructuring of the shop, including the placement of equipment and programming of operations for the specific body architecture.
Special attention was paid to ensuring the geometric accuracy of welding and the design rigidity of the body. The level of automation in welding production reached 90%.
Several models will be produced at the site, details of which will be announced in the near future. The official debut of the Tenet T8 model in Russia is expected soon, but the exact specifications and prices have not yet been disclosed. The Tenet model range will also include analogues of Tiggo 4, Tiggo 7L, and Tiggo 9.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Tenet brand dealerships have begun to open throughout Russia.
