In 2025, a new domestic brand Tenet, created in collaboration with the Chinese auto giant Defetoo, will appear on the Russian market. Details about the new product have already been revealed.
The first model is called Tenet 3XT. It is undergoing the certification process.
The crossover will be released with three transmission options — manual, robotized, and a classic hydraulic automatic. The engine range includes two units with a volume of 1.5 and 1.6 liters. Power characteristics have not yet been disclosed. It is assumed that the basic versions will have an output of about 150 hp, and the top versions can reach 197 hp.
In terms of dimensions, the Tenet 3XT will be comparable to the Chery Tiggo 4, Geely Coolray, and Changan CS35 Plus. The length of the new item is approximately 4.3 meters, and the wheelbase is about 2600 mm.
The Tenet model range will include three more crossovers. The first car will debut this summer. Car production was organized at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga.
