The Courtesy of Kings: Russian FABs with UMPC Become More Accurate Thanks to New Kometa-M Module

Fighterbomber stated that attempts to knock ammunition off course are unlikely to succeed

Modernized interference-resistant satellite data reception modules "Kometa-M" on Russian bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) help crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) to work on targets with high accuracy. This was reported by a former military pilot, author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber.

Our twilight geniuses were able to produce a version of the "Kometa" with which they hit well.

At the same time, the former military man noted that there is information about isolated successful attempts to counter the "Kometa-M".

The Kometa-M module on Russian FAB bombs provides reliable GLONASS/GPS navigation and timing by protecting against all types of interference by electronic warfare equipment.

Field tests have shown that the "Kometa" can withstand a level of interference 100,000 times greater than a conventional receiver.

Earlier www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles for the second time in three days.
