«От нападений по телефону и онлайн не застрахован никто»: россиянам рассказали, как защитить себя от мошенников

Fraudulent attacks are one of the main security challenges in the modern world

Every month, millions of Russians face attacks from scammers and spammers. No one is immune from such attacks. If you have become a victim of fraudsters, first check access to your account on the "Gosuslugi" portal. This was stated by Petr Alferov, Anti-Fraud Director of Beeline.

According to him, the longest attack in 2024 lasted almost a day. During this time, scammers tried to contact the victim more than 17 thousand times. And this is not an isolated case. Attacks can be extremely intense. For example, in April 2025, a potential victim received about 8 thousand calls in just three hours.

Every month, Russians receive hundreds of millions of calls from scammers and spammers. No one is immune from phone and online attacks, and attackers are often well-equipped and very persistent. Fraudulent attacks are one of the main security challenges in the modern world. Few people don't know what it is, but even a prepared person can be thrown off balance if they act brazenly and assertively.

If you encounter a scammer, immediately check if you have access to your account on "Gosuslugi". Then make sure you can log in to online banking and your mobile operator's personal account. After that, log back into your profiles in messengers and social networks.

Review your message history to make sure scammers haven't sent out mailings to your contacts. In the messenger settings, go to "Connected Devices" and terminate suspicious sessions.

The expert advises creating unique passwords for all your accounts and enabling two-factor authentication. This will complicate the task of hackers and protect your data on all sites.

If you have problems accessing your account, contact the support service of the corresponding service: "Gosuslugi", bank or social network.
