Operators of the SKAT 350 M unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were used for targeting before the launch by the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK). This was reported by the Kalashnikov concern.
As a result of targeting, the Iskander-M delivers high-precision strikes with ammunition with a cluster warhead. The UAV also provides objective control after the strike on the target.
SKAT differs from its "counterparts" from other manufacturers by a modern module with updated algorithms and a target load with high performance characteristics, facilitating the operator's work on stable target tracking, as well as a reinforced structure adapted for parachute landing.
SKAT 350 M is capable of staying in the air for up to four hours. Previously, www1.ru reported that the key shortcomings of the new modification of the BTR-60MB3 have become known.
