As of the beginning of July 2025, Russia has approximately 300 ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK). This was reported by foreign sources.
There is no official information on this matter at the moment; the Russian Ministry of Defense has not made any statements.
According to open sources, the Iskander-M's ammunition lineup includes concrete-piercing, high-explosive fragmentation, cluster, incendiary, and nuclear warheads. The missiles are guided to the target via a satellite system, and the homing head begins operation in the final section.
The Iskander-M is used to destroy enemy air defense systems, as well as other critical objects at a maximum range of up to 500 km.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic Kinzhals for the second time in three days.
