Starting July 2025, Russian military personnel will be able to confirm their participation in the special military operation (SMO) via the Internet, on the "Gosuslugi" service. This innovation, developed by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Digital Development, will significantly simplify the process of obtaining benefits.
The data processing time will be reduced from four days to a few seconds. Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov noted that this is a step towards full automation of the benefits acquisition process.
According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 110 thousand certificates of participation in the SMO have already been issued through the "Gosuslugi" portal. Also, military personnel and their families can apply for admission to universities online, using electronic certificates. More than eight thousand applicants have already taken advantage of this opportunity.
