Four to six new metro stations will open in Moscow every year, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
On average, four, five, or six metro stations will be launched per year. In the coming years, we will build several new lines: the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line, the Troitskaya line, and the Biryulyovskaya line.
According to Sobyanin, the new metro lines will provide access to the subway for hundreds of thousands of people who currently live far from stations.
The Mayor emphasized that Moscow has implemented a new transport system covering the capital and neighboring cities of the Moscow region. In recent years, about 260 new rail transport stations have opened in the capital.
