The Russian game studio Cyberia Nova, known for its project "Smuta", has announced the release of a new game called "Zemsky Sobor". Originally planned as an add-on, the game will now become a standalone project that will appear on November 4, 2025, on National Unity Day.
"Zemsky Sobor" will differ from its predecessor in the absence of role-playing elements and an emphasis on dynamic action. The plot focuses on the Cossack Kirsha and unfolds after the Time of Troubles. Players will find new combat mechanics, exciting storylines, and the possibility of peaceful interaction between characters.
For those who already own "Smuta", access to "Zemsky Sobor" will be free. The decision is part of Cyberia Nova's new strategy aimed at simplifying the gameplay.
The project was funded by revenues from "Smuta" and external investments. The total budget of the game was about 280 million rubles.
