SU-100 "beast killer" self-propelled artillery units on T-34 tank chassis and armed with 100-mm D-10S guns continue to be operated in several countries. This time, the guns were spotted in the Vietnamese army.
Judging by the footage from local television, the equipment is in excellent condition. It is regularly maintained to be deployed as quickly as possible if necessary.
During the Great Patriotic War, domestic self-propelled artillery units capable of fighting German "Tigers" and "Panthers" were called "beast killers".
It is known that, in addition to the ground forces, the SU-100 is also used in the coastal forces of the Vietnamese Navy.
