Billionaire Dmitry Alekseev Becomes Co-founder of Nextgen Robotics

Dmitry Alekseev, one of the founders of the well-known electronics store chain DNS, has invested in a new business project. He became a co-founder of Nextgen Robotics, which will be engaged in the development and production of industrial robots.

The company was registered on November 18, 2024. Its CEO is Alexander Sych, a graduate student at the Far Eastern Federal University, who created, in collaboration with graduate students from the Engineering School, a visual programming system for industrial robots. The authorized capital of Nextgen Robotics is 600 thousand rubles, of which 330 thousand rubles (55%) belong to Alekseev.

In addition to manufacturing robots, the new company will be engaged in wholesale trade of machine tools and the development of projects in various industries, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial construction. The business expansion underscores Alekseev's commitment to innovation and the development of high technologies in Russia.

According to Forbes, Dmitry Alekseev is in the list of the wealthiest people in the world, ranking 2287th with a fortune of 1.3 billion dollars. In 2020, he was recognized as the wealthiest resident of the Primorsky Territory. Together with his business partners, he founded DNS in 1998.
