The Russian mobile application store for Android-based devices, RuStore, has signed a cooperation agreement with "STC IT ROSA", the developer of the domestic OS "ROSA Mobile". Now, users of the "ROSA Mobile" OS will be able to download, install, and update mobile applications using RuStore.
The users of the first Russian smartphone R-FON, which was developed by "STC IT ROSA", will be able to do the same.
The integration of RuStore into the ROSA ecosystem helps to meet the demand for Russian solutions and guarantees data protection. User security is ensured at several levels: a secure container isolates Android applications from the main system, and all applications in RuStore undergo mandatory moderation and are checked using antivirus systems.
The integration of RuStore into our ecosystem is a significant step in creating a safe digital space for Russian users. We are confident that this cooperation will strengthen users' trust in our solutions.
Earlier in November, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on installing RuStore on iPhones. The initiative aims to reduce dependence on foreign services and support Russian developments.
